Description

Words Their Way Whole School Implementation

While individual teachers work hard in their classrooms to help their students progress in spelling, in many instances teachers in the same school will use different methods and approaches to word study. This disparity in approaches can impact student learning from year to year, as students move from one classroom approach to another.

This workshop examines how a consistent whole school approach to spelling strategies can help students progress more effectively. The workshop content examines the Words Their Way spelling and word study strategies in the context of school-wide implementation and use.
