Unlocking the secrets to an individuals personality is an effective way for you and your client to better understand themselves, the way they interact with others and how they respond to different situations.

As a practitioner you have the opportunity to find the most practical, economic and scientifically sound approach to assist your clients in the most efficient and effective way that you can.

Critics have long contended that type-oriented approaches to personality can be simplistic and inaccurate…..

The Golden Personality Type Profiler overcomes those limitations with a report that measures 36 additional Facet Scales.

Not only can you see Jungian 4-letter personality type, but also the subtle facets, which make up that personality type.

Using Jung's Type Theory as a foundation, the Golden Personality Type Profiler unites Psychological Type, Temperament, Trait, and the empirically supported factor models of personality and generates one comprehensive survey and feedback report.

The Golden can improve:

  • Your ability to better tailor intervention programmes
  • The outcomes of intervention
  • Two-way communication

The Golden can be used in a number of applications including:

  • Stress counselling
  • Improving communication
  • Conflict management
  • Coaching
  • Leadership development, and
  • Team building

The Golden Personality Type Profiler offers several significant benefits:

  • An understanding and appreciation of differences in others
  • An ability to capitalize on strengths and explore developmental needs
  • Improved communication
  • Resolving of interpersonal conflict and improved relationships
  • Greater synergy between people
  • Increased effectiveness at home and work
  • Clearer career direction
  • Improved self-esteem and self-confidence

The Golden Personality Type Profiler is different from the typical measures of personality type.

Unlike other type personality assessments, this profiler is unique in that it:

  • Is geared toward identifying behaviours
  • Examines both work and leisure situations
  • Includes thirty-six Facet Scales within the four Global Scales, allowing individual personalities to emerge
  • Reports the strength of preference on every scale
  • Has an additional Global Scale with two additional Facet Scales, measuring responses to daily stressors
  • Has downloadable support materials available free-of-charge

The additional Global Scale, Tense-Calm with facets of Unsure-Confidence and Concerned-Optimism, can dramatically affect the way the “type” expresses itself and how open an individual is to development. The Optimism and Confidence facets make it an outstanding tool to use in executive coaching, as it allows type development exploration.

The Golden also gives you the option to report on a group of individuals.

The Team Report can be used when assessing the personalities of several individuals who interact together and is a useful compilation of individual results. The Team Report provides a comprehensive view of different personalities and insights as to how individuals can work together more effectively, making it an ideal resource to use in team building initiatives, to help improve communication and team work.

The Golden Online Assessment and Report

This online profile asks individuals to respond to 125 behaviour oriented questions, such as how one reacts to various situations. The online survey is very user-friendly and can be completed in about 25 minutes.

The report provides a listing of all scales, letting you see your client’s strength of preference on what typically dichotomous scales in type instruments.  This gives you a complete picture of their response patterns, revealing the true complexity of the individual and how they address daily challenges.

Items use a Likert scale rather than a forced choice format, making the data more reflective of intensity of the type preference.

There are four facets for each global dimension of type that are reported on this tool. These facets reveal deeper aspects of each preference and specific behaviours often associated with development. For example, a Talkative and Outgoing Introvert is likely to be seen very differently than a Quiet and Intimate Introvert. These rich differences provide insights into how individuals of the same type could be quite different.
