Day One - 9am to 3pm

Day Two - 9am - 1pm

At the end of the session, attendees will have: 

  • A deeper understanding of the CATALISE research and DSM-5 Criteria for Language Difficulties 

  • A thorough knowledge of language difficulties vs. developmental language disorder (DLD) vs. language disorder associated with a known biomedical condition 

  • A holistic overview of the impact of DLD on early learning 

  • Guidance on how to support these children in the clinic and at home in preparation for school readiness 

  • Considerations for screen time including practical strategies for parents to enhance their child’s language learning 

  • An opportunity to score, interpret and complete a detailed assessment of a complex clinical case with recommendations and an accompanying therapy plan (peer-reviewed)
