Focusing on preparing teachers and students to meet the requirements of the new syllabus, this will lead to strategies that will promote confidence and success when approaching the new QCE

By the end of this workshop, participants will 

  1. Deepen their understanding of how students learn Mathematics

  2. Develop strategies that will support content retrieval for exam and assessment preparation 

  3. Ensure your students are ready for the exam 

  4. Learn helpful tips for getting the parents on side

Mr Terry Moran M.Ed – Mathematics Education

Current Head of Department Mathematics at Cavendish Road SHS

P/T University Lecturer with the University of Qld – Mathematics Education

Terry is passionate about mathematics education and providing classroom experiences that represent evidence based processes to enhance student understanding and experience.  Having taught in Queensland Schools for the last 29 years he has never been more motivated to improve his (and your) practice.He is currently taking on new learning to adapt his classroom to meet the ever-changing landscape of education, fortunate timing given the significance of the changes coming with the new QCE.
